Was a actually a few weekends ago but I'm way behind on almost everything right now so this is a little bit of catch up. Our friends Mike and Erin
Higley have a beautiful property in Mt Pleasant so we headed down there for a great weekend. The forecast said lots of rain but we figured whatever. LOTS of rain, hail, thunderstorms, and very cold temperatures is actually what we got but luckily the
Higley's have a great camper and covered pavilion so we stayed warm and mostly dry.

We spent most of the time in the camper Saturday doing play
doh and playing checkers, go fish, and Bingo.

Yep, lots of hail, it came down really hard for a few minutes-the same few minutes we had decided to bail and Chris was loading up the truck. Poor guy got soaked.

The boys settled in for popcorn and a movie.

Little Brooks loved to just toddle around and explore. Most things ended up in his mouth and his little fingers were red and cold but he seemed to have a lot of fun.

They had a great tree swing.

Trace,
Kayden and James got to sleep on the cool bunk beds.

The boys (not the baby) even enjoyed a few four wheeling rides before the big rains hit.

All in all it was a lot of fun and we hope to make it up there again. It was a beautiful area and we love to camp. We have a few more trips booked and can't wait.
