Bear Lake

This past weekend we headed off for one last hooray before life gets very, very scheduled. We love to go to Bear Lake and didn't make it last summer with a new baby and stuff so we were super excited to go this year. We headed up Thursday afternoon and were able to stay until Sunday morning. The weather was perfect, not too hot during the day, a little chilly at night. It got kind of windy Saturday but settled down in the evening. It was a great trip! The pics are all backwards but here we go. Our friends the Fellers came up Friday night with their cute kids. Our kids all played so well together. I don't think we had one problem with them not getting along. They made up games and pretend play and had a lot of fun.

The bad guys tied up the princesses and played for over an hour on how they needed to be rescued from their castle by Batman and Robin. So funny!!

They played cards and dominoes (maybe a future love story here?)

Of course we had a great time at the beach for hours each day. We had fun burying each other and doing muscle man with the guys.....

We tried all the kids at once and Trace freaked out pretty fast so we couldn't do a design but the rest of them loved it.

I love the beaches at Bear Lake. The sand is soft and fun to play in, the water is blue and beautiful and stays shallow for like 100 yards so there is plenty of space for the kids to play.

This little man loves loves loves the water. He sat for an hour or more each day and just filled up a bucket shovel by shovel with sand. He would just splash and wade out a little. We curled up under our umbrella each afternoon and took a little 30 minute nap. It was great

My sister Shan and her hubby Jed (below) and sis Bre and bro Jordan all came as well. We had a great time making jokes, playing games, of course eating and playing at the beach.

So lucky that my family are my friends that I hang out with and vacation with. We had a great time

Yes this is a rope tied to wee man's waste. I could not keep him off the table or out of the fire long enough to do anything. He actually did pretty well with it on.

We loved Bear Lake and hope to get a week at our time share for next summer so we can stay little longer. 3 days camping is about our limit but it sure was fun!
