I mentioned in my Christmas post that I got a pair of awesome running shoes. I really do love them and they have made a big difference in my running. I've had a few friends do relay races recently and I must say-I think I want to do it. I think it sounds extreme, running, sleeping (probably in a car), resting then running again, over and over for 2 days. I am NOT a distance runner. I ran track in high school-sprints. Meaning my longest race was 200M. For non track people that's half of 1 lap-not far. I have run a few 5k races in my life and felt pretty good, but maxed out. Last night I ran almost 4 miles and felt really good so I think I'm on my way to signing up for my first ever Ragnar Race. 4 miles you say, I know that's a far cry from 18 but hey, you've gotta start somewhere. But here's the problem. It takes 12 people to make a team.
I know there are 11 other amazing people out there that want to run this with me? Here's the link................

I think it sounds so cool, just to say that I did it will be awesome. Come on, you know you want to.. Any takers? Please????

Oh it's so not me. I admire people that can run and say they enjoy it (although I really think you're all NUTS!) - for me it is pure torture! Good luck though :)
Ummmm....So you know me and Andy run.....
Oh yeah...I think Zac's sister Mackenzie and her husband are looking for a team, too....Just saying....
Jamie, I am a bit intimidated and am not sure I would be a very valuable contributor to the team but if I can spare the change after this slump that Keith is in and after paying for Seth's tuition, I think it look like a ton of fun. What would we be called?-- The Mental Moms!
