In other words, what we've been up to. I hate thinking of creative titles, so much pressure!
No pictures for the past few weeks but man has it been a whirlwind. I was a raving maniac last week tieing up loose ends for Youth Conference. We took about 200 people to Camp Williams for 3 days. It was a lot of work, and it paid off. I'm not going to lie though, there were moments of frustration and tears, but to sit on Saturday night and listen to the testimonies of the youth and how different activities touched them and strengthened them made them all worth it. And we started working on Trek for 2010 Monday morning, wow! Chris came with me and the boys had a marvelous time with our friend Sandy. They keep asking when she gets to come back, so sounds like we get a break somewhere soon?
I had a long list of things to do this summer after Youth Conference was done and I'm well on my way of marking things off. This week we've been busy with swimming lessons, a swimming party with my amazing presidencies and their kids, a long afternoon nap one day, and a little bit of TLC. Chris surprised me Tuesday night with a motorcycle. We drove up through the Alpine Loop in the early evening with some good friends and felt 5 years younger with the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Plus a night on a motorcycle does everyone good!! We're headed off the the Owlz Baseball game tonight. I love baseball and grew up going to the Albuquerque Dukes every summer as a family. I have fond memories of my dad strategically placing 3-4 of us kids in every other line on $.50 hot dog night, in order to buy the maximum amount of hot dogs! Kayden and Trace also love to play baseball and Kayden says he's gonna grow up to be a baseball player, well until today that is. We were driving in the car and he let out a big sigh and said 'Mom, I don't want to grow up to be a baseball player anymore. I want to grow up to be a missionary.' I love it!
Have a wonderful 4th everyone

I'm glad the craziness of youth conference is over and you can enjoy your summer now!
That is crazy that you have already started on Trek planning. I had no idea it was such a huge undertaking. You are awesome, simply put.
I love the missionary comment. You know you are doing really well when you hear things like that. Which I already knew about you.
