A month later it is finally in my kitchen and the hubby agrees it looks great!! He did all the patching of the corner and scratches, I took the top and sanded and painted it, he took the bottom and sanded and painted it. Then after we got the paint all looking great I took after it with a big sandblock and ruffed it up. Always feels weird to 'mess up' a good paint job :)

Another Project!!
I've been looking for a Hutch/Curio type thing for my kitchen for probably a year. Once again I won't afford what I REALLY want so every once in awhile I check KSL. I found this beauty for $50!!!! My hubby didn't think it would work......... It was missing a corner and was pretty scratched up. Really dusty and old and broken glass, rusted out hardware and some water damage but I liked the basic shape of it and knew it could work with some lovin.

Very, very cool project.
Looks amazing!! I love it.
Way to be patient and find the right thing and make it beautiful, I love it!
Looks great! I love repurposing furniture and customizing my home with paint...so inexpensive and yet makes such a difference. Can't wait to see your next project!
