Iderho!

So last weekend my brother who attends BYU-I came into town. He mentioned that our cousin in Pocatello was blessing his baby on Sunday. It was Labor Day weekend and we didn't really have any plans. Okay so we had a list of To-Do's around the house and yard that we were trying to avoid :) We called my awesome cousin up Saturday night, late and asked if our family could come crash at their house for Sunday/Monday! Talk about horrible house guests but they said yes!! We were so excited for a quick, fun get away.

We looked up online late late Saturday night and the plan was to head to Bear World in Rexburg on Monday. But once we got there Sunday we were having too much fun with them so we all hit the Idaho State Fair instead. Serious fun!!! If anywhere knows how to do a fair, it would be Idaho. We hate sinking money into the rides but can you tell these smiles no? Each kid got to pick 1 ride, and it still cost $10!!! OUCH But Brooks LOVED the train.

And Trace surprised as all but hopping on his very first roller coaster. I kind of think it was to impress his cute cousin Paige, but he said he loved it! He was screaming 'this is totally awesome' the whole time!

They had a cool sports zone that was all free so we hung out there for quite awhile. Each boy took a turn driving these remote control cars, then they had a turn being the pit crew and helping out crashes and cars that got stuck.

The had a super cool science tent, again for free, that we spent a lot of time in as well. Super fun and great ideas to do at home with the kids!

And the REAL reason we go to the fair..................

The food. We put down a turkey leg, corn dogs and curly fries. And had to pick up a huge bag of kettle corn on our way out for the ride home. We spent a lot of time looking at all the animals. As much time as we could before Trace's eyes started getting a little puffy and the sneezing was getting a little out of control.

All our kids are only a few months apart so it was a great match up. They played really well together and I can't wait for the next time we see them all!
