We love to camp. A few weeks ago we even popped the tent and pulled out the fire pit in the backyard for the weekend. What's summer for right? This past weekend we headed up to one of my favorite spots.....and only took 2 pics sorry. Whiting Campground is just through the cute little town of Mapleton. The site has TONS of shade, wonderful trails for the kids to explore, a cute little creek that is just far enough away to not be scary, a great loop for the boys to ride their scooters around, and just a nice place to be out of the heat! We enjoyed great camping food, built this cool fort, and have washed layers and layers of dirt off the boys since we got back.
3 weekends ago we kept with our annual tradition of going to Gunnison w
ith our dear friends the Schauers family. We camped in the backyard, played with the chickens, rode 4-wheelers, bbq, ate too much, laughed never too much, and went to the great small town parade. I think we came home with as much candy as Halloween!

That camping sounds like a lot of fun! We need to get a camp trip on the books with you guys before the summer fades away!
