So the hubby and I (I shouldn't speak for him... but here I go) have been putting on a few lately. We were in such great shape last year doing races every month and running together. I think the winter hit and we went into hibernation. So I signed us up for a 10k about a month ago, hoping it would motivate us to get back out there. I was still running but nothing over about 4 miles
every other day, mostly because of my busy life.
Anywho, he didn't run........once. And of course he stayed right
with me the entire time! So agravating but it was still fun. We came in 79 and 80 out of about 400 people and my time was 9:14 minute miles! Not too bad for not really training.

We got up at 6:30 am which honestly was the hardest part of hte whole race. We got to Orem just after 7 and enjoyed perfect weather after just a little bit of rain before racetime.
We came home, did a bunch of yard work, had a great BBQ with friends and then headed to one of our favorite summer activites-the rodeo! Alas we didn't even last 2 hours as it was snowing/sleeting/raining/blowing. Anyway it was way too cold for the kiddos but still a lot of fun.

wAy To Go!!! you did not put on a few pounds you look as skinny as ever! Looks fun and your time was awesome:) I can't believe Chris...he is crazy doesn't need to train and can do about anything.
Just curious where the pounds are that you were 'packing on' - cause I don't see them anywhere ;).
Congrats on the race!
