Our vaca in review.....

We did a lot of relaxing, a lot. Like we had a few days that we all stayed in our PJ's, I think I've only done that once or twice before and it was after having a baby. It was great to play games, watch movies, eat and just relax. I let the boys watch TV and play video games more in the past 2 weeks than we usually do in 2 months and that is because it was my vacation too right! We had a great time, including taking long baths...... watching Price is Right. Yep the boys discovered this show and they thought it was great, which I thought was kind of funny.Kayden and Trace decided the first Saturday of the break that they were going to have a garage sale and get rid of all their old toys before Christmas came. They worked for about an hour going through their stuff and even made price tags.....

Yes we talked him down from very high prices but I still thought it was a great idea.

We had chocolate and cheese fondue and had a picnic in front of Toy Story. Super fun and VERY yummy.
We also discovered classic skating in sandy. On Tuesdays it's only $2 and they let the kids bring small bikes and scooter's, they even let us put Brooks in the stroller which he loved. Chris worked up quite the sweat pushing him around and around and everyone came home totally beat.
The boys were both very brave and each tried the real roller skates for a few minutes, a very few minutes.

This was Brooks making the ASL for more every time his ride stopped.

One day we picked up Grandma Bengtzen (Chris's 90 yr old Grandma that we lived with when we were first married) and all went to see Tangled. We all loved it and hit up the Crown Burger across the street afterwards. It was a great afternoon outing.
We also enjoyed Chris's new Blue Ray a few times with great movies, played our new games we got for Christmas and ate ourselves silly. It was a wonderful break, one I really enjoyed and felt like it was time to get back to reality, as much as I hated sending the boys off to school it was time. Happy New Year!
