Happy Birthday to me!

Yep, another year wiser-NOT older. We had a great weekend beginning with dropping the kiddos off and my sisters house Friday about 4. We headed to the temple and dinner. Then Chris had bought tickets to............. Bill Cosby!!! He is a legend and one of my favorite people. I grew up watching the Cosby Show, occasionally Little House on the Prairie, and of course the Lawrence Welk Show Saturday nights while mom put pink squishy rollers in my waist long hair. But back to the Cosby show. Love him!!! He was Totally clean and hilarious and it was a walk down memory lane for me. We had a great time, a much needed date. I don't think we've been out without the baby - ever- so it was fun.

Saturday I enjoyed a few hours of girl time with my sisters for lunch at Cafe Rio and a little shopping. I was headed home to clean the house, scrub the floors etc and I walked in to the carpets in the family room and living room freshly shampooed and all 3 boys (Hubby, K and T) on their hands and knees scrubbing the tile floor. Love it!

Sunday we had a great home made dinner and dessert and enjoyed our 'day of love' as Kayden described it.

Monday was the 'big day' and while in the shower..........

the monkeys went swinging in my closet and this is the only picture I have of the entire weekend. But Chris whipped out the tools and had it fixed in no time, including fixing a fresh lobster dinner for me. He bought it, cooked it, shelled it, and only dry heaved a few times. The boys stuck with chicken but I loved it all! I had lovely emails from friends, a huge piece of chocolate cake with a candle show up at my door, and of course Thanks boys for a great birthday!

Happy Birthday! It sounds like an exciting weekend. I'm jealous you were able to see Bill Cosby. "I grew up watching the Cosby Show, occasionally Little House on the Prairie, and of course the Lawrence Welk Show Saturday nights while mom put pink squishy rollers in my waist long hair." That is totally my childhood. That cracks me up.
