I hope you all made it to the Festival of Trees this weekend. This is the first year we've gone to Santa land and enjoyed some of the games there. The boys loved fishing in the ice pond and a personal favorite....... cinnamon rolls and scones!!
Every year they add to the activities at the Festival of Trees. This year we stood in the horrible line to see Santa. They were so excited then totally froze when we got to him. Trace could only nod and shake his head. Santa asked him if he would like something cuddly to snuggle with, Trace had a very blank stare on his face and just shook his head no. So Santa asked him if he would like a big red fire engine and he got a small smile and nod.
Kayden couldn't remember how to talk and kept mumbling about a small hand, Bumble Bee, small hand something. As soon as we left, like 10 feet away he goes 'Dang it, why couldn't I remember I wanted the Bumble Bee hand cannon.'
So blessed!! Look at those handsome boys!!!!
The boys even got to call the north pole and talk to an elf! They loved it
They also made a little craft to come home with . I started taking pics of my favorite trees then soon realized there were far too many to keep track of. Much to my boys (all 4 of them) dismay we were there 5 wonderful, glorious hours. I loved that place and hope you all got to go!

That's classic, the whole not being able to speak to Santa in person, very Christmas Story.
