October happenings

I tried to postpone this as long as possible, truly we just barely brought the high chair upstairs last week. He loves to eat!!! We've had a very busy and fun month thus far. This is possibly my favorite month of the year. I love all the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes this change of season has to offer. We have a few favorite activities we do each year...... Thanksgiving Point Barnyard Boo being one of them.

So sad, I finally got them locked up!!!

We got to go to Uncle Jed's b-day party a few weeks ago and that was a lot of fun. The boys were anxiously awaiting a big piece of birthday cake all week, then were heartbroken when it had raisins in it!!! Gross, they wouldn't even try it! heehehehe We spent a sunny afternoon at Gardner Village. Always a favorite.

Love this pic! Pretty sure this was right after one of the air shows-Chris loves to throw him up in the air, and he loves it to, so far. I guess I'm the only one that doesn't love it, but it does produce a cute giggle and smile.

We also spent an afternoon at a pumpkin patch. This was a lot of fun and there was no end to the pumpkins! We ended up with white ones, green ones, tall ones, round ones, big ones, tiny ones. And a few trips through the free corn maze as well!!!

The wheelbarrow was a huge hit.

Why are we so excited to climb in a horse trailer?

We also had a fun little Halloween party of our own at the house this weekend with family. We carved pumpkins and decorated sugar cookies, had the season's first chili in bread bowls and had a great time. But, the camera has broken. So sad you can't see my handsome boys for awhile til we figure it out.

And on a side note......... Brooks is sitting up. So sad

Oh and I found out I'm going to be an aunt!!!!!!!! My baby sista is gonna be a momma!! Congrats Shan & Jed!
