Snakes, Snails, and Puppy dog tails

This past weekend was another dream come true for our boys. They have looked forward to a camping trip all summer. I was a little hesitant to go with the wee man so we postponed it a little longer than normal, but we had a great time. We headed up to Diamond Fork Campground up Price Canyon Thursday afternoon and were very sad to return Saturday afternoon, we all wanted another day.

There was wonderful shade and lots of clouds, even some rain to cool it down which brought out a ton of little snails all over our tent........


There was a little creek nearby and uncle Landon found this friendly snake....

And Landon and Jess's 3 dogs came along too!

We had amazing food, dutch oven ribs, roast and potatoes, multiple cobblers, incredible pork salad, smores, and my favorite-I was in charge of Sat breakfast and the muffins got all smashed and wet in the cooler so we decided to set out all the remaining food and go at it. So breakfast consisted of smores, Cheetos, hot dogs, choc chip cookies and pop. The boys were thrilled and it led to a great sugar crash later in the day.

Brooks did great. I bundled him probably a little too much at night but he slept great and just hung out during the day, he is such an angel.

We went on a few little hikes and treasure hunts with the boys, played cars while they watched a movie, told lots of stories and laughed a lot.

The boys even tried the shock collar for the dogs on a few times!

We love camping and hope we can fit another trip in before the season is over. Thanks for another great memory family!
