A little slice of heaven

Just what the doctor ordered, just wish he ordered it more often! We spent Memorial Day weekend at my brother in law Jed's house in Flowell, UT (just 6 miles out of Fillmore). This is their backyard, seriously! It was so pretty and peaceful and fun. They're about to cut the alfalfa fields so they were very green and beautiful. We even got a wonderful rain storm and it smelled like heaven. Chris got puffy within about 30 minutes and his eyes swelled close. 2 Benadryl's later he was in bed.

We enjoyed wonderful food, lots of laughs and the boys saying funny things and exploring the farm. We watched Man from Snowy River and Return From Snowy River. I hadn't seen them for years and this time around loved how corny they were! We took a 2 hour nap on Sunday and loved letting the boys roam around and just be boys. They got back from this ride and Kayden said 'Mom what is 5 and 0?' I said 50!! Hence Trace's fluffy hair.Kayden asked for a handful of Gobstoppers and shoved them all in his mouth at once! This poor cat had just had 4 kittens. The boys spent most of their time in the garage 'playing' with them. One of my favorite thing's that Kayden said was Monday morning we were sitting on the back porch with the cat and she was purring really loud. I asked if he knew what that sound was and he said "ya it's her gas.' What? I guess Uncle Jed had told him she had a motor running inside her. hahahaha

Jed's brother Jake and his friend Melissa were very good sports. As most of you know my boys are not shy and they were instant friends!Uncle Jed made a fire in the backyard for Smore's Saturday night.

Brooks was an angel. He got his first 4 wheeler ride, and John Deere tractor ride too!

I don't even know how many cows there were, but the boys loved it! Trace felt very powerful cause he'd jump towards them they would all scurry backwards.

A perfect place for a ballgame.
Trace discovered puddle jumping, I think we may just start this at home, it was a lot of fun and kind of cute.

Turns out they like any machine they can ride on.

Butch the very patient dog, he did get a lot of treats though.

We spent a lot of time on this porch. It was so quiet and peaceful outside.

Saturday afternoon we headed to the sand dunes. We had amazing dutch oven potatoes, hamburgers, lots of 4 wheeling and the boys were in sand heaven. Trace was literally rolling down the hills. We cleaned sand out of shoes and pants and jackets for, well I'm still finding it. They had so much fun!

I think the highlight was the tractor ride. These things are actually pretty nice to ride in.

THANK YOU ROBISON FAMILY for a wonderful weekend. We may just show up again!!
