We blessed the wee man yesterday at our home and it was wonderful! Between summer vacation schedules and people coming and going yesterday was the only day we could do it, and we got permission to do it at home cause my parents were only here for a short time and had to catch an early afternoon flight. It was a very neat day. Chris conducted a little program. Kayden and Trace sang I lived in heaven, then Chris's 100 year old grandpa gave a beautiful prayer, all about our little girl Brook. It was really funny actually. Then we had the wonderful blessing and all sang I am a Child of God and my dad finished with a beautiful prayer.

Here was my side of the fam that was able to make it. Jed and Shan, Beth is the lone sibling at home still, Bre is at the Y but going home for the summer (so sad for me) and my wonderful parents. My bro Josh in AZ and his wife Jen couldn't make it up, bro Jordan is on his mission (only for 9 more weeks though) and bro Landon and wife Jess in Provo sadly were sick so were kind enough to not risk getting anyone else sick. It did make me so so sad to have them so close and not here, but appreciate their consideration.

This is Chris's side that was able to make it. Mom and dad, Grandma Bengtzen is in the middle there, we lived in her basement for about 2 years when we first got married, she is wonderful! His cute sister Heidi is on the floor with Kayden and G&G Jensen are on chair. His bro and family in ID couldn't make it, a brother Pat in Tx, and bro Kevin and his family in S Jordan.

Nana & Papa Roper with their grandsons!

This is a 4 generation picture on Chris's side. Grandpa Grant Jensen is 100, his dad, Chris and our boys.

This is President & Sister Clyde, who Brooks middle name is after. They were our mission president in Scotland. This couple is amazing, we haven't been too good and keeping in touch with them but I think of them all the time. I learned so much from them in the mission field, not jusst from talks at conferences, and interviews each month, but just from the way they live their life and loved us as missionaries. They are just the kind of people that leave such an impact in your life, even if you were only with them for a short time. We are thrilled to have their name apart of our family.

Shauna, Justin & Bailey Shauers.

Amy & Aaron Schauers, almost her turn!!! She is having a girl, and our boys are excited to have a 'sister.' They've already adopted her into the family, and Bailey as well for that matter.
There were another 2 Schauers families here but they snuck out before I got their pictures. Wendy and Keith and their 4 great kids, and Jared and Heather and their 3 great kids. Thanks so much everyone for being a part of our special day.

Congratulations Jamie...looks like a very special day. How lucky to have so much family be able to make it. How do I know Shauna? She looks so familiar.
Brooks is so beautiful. It's so nice that you were able to just have it in your home with close friends and family.
Oh my gosh, I haven't checked your blog in forever and You Had a BABY!!! Congratulations!!!! He is beautiful! Your boys are so cute, my mom always wanted to have little red headed grandkids....but I think she's gotten over it. Have a great day and again, Congratulations!!!
Thanks for letting us be a part of the special day! Brooks is such an adorable baby and I can't wait to see how he develops and grows. On another note - are pregnant arms supposed to be that huge! After seeing that picture of myself it makes me want to go buy some dumbells!!
