We bought tickets to see Celine Dion over a year ago in Phoenix, AZ. I'm not a huge, die hard fan or anything but man can that lady sing! I left a much bigger fan than when I went. We made a girls weekend out of it and stayed 3 beautiful, sunny days in AZ. Shopped til our feet hurt, ate til or tummy's hurt, and laughed til I peed my pants, seriously but be quiet about that. Anyway, I can't wait til our next sisters trip (and mom of course).
One of my favorite things we did was go on a ride-along with my buff cop brother Josh. He's been a police office for just over 2 years now and was made to do this job. It made me even more proud of him and grateful that their are brave men and women out there willing to serve each of us and keep us safe. He's the coolest! I went from 7am to 11am and saw quite a bit of action, at least I thought so. The first call was for a robbery at Pizza Hut, turned out to be a false alarm but still, who goes into a building not knowing what they will find? Then we saw some bums and got another call for an armed robbery. Just the driving their was exciting. Long story short, the guy was in a hotel room so they had their shields, helmets and big rifles out ready for anything. He ended up coming out without a fight and the handcuffed girlfriend sat in the back of Josh's car for about 40 minutes, with me in the front, AWKWARD!!! Can't really strike up a conversation but anyway. Then their was a traffic stop and a few other quick calls. All in all I really enjoyed it and would love to do it again.
You have to know this girl to get it. She graduated Valedictorian, is getting straight A's at BYU, could kick any of our butts on book smarts and piano performance and singing, then she does this! I mainly love that she said twice not to put this on my blog!! ehehehehehehe
I think there were 5 costume changes, really cool dancers, beautiful dresses and an amazing voice! The crowd was well behaved which always makes it more enjoyable and we had padded seats!

I love Celeine. We saw her in Vegas a couple years ago, and I thought she was an amazing entertainer. Looks like you had a great time!
Awesome that you totally disregarded your sister's demand not to put it on your blog. :) That's what sisters are for!
Geez, you do the coolest things. I guess we know who to look to when you are dead, she is going to kill you, apparently. That would be soo awkward to be sitting there with the girl in the back seat. That's hilarious. Celine's dress was itty bitty.
Looks like a fun trip! I bet it was so fun for you to ride along with Josh? Did you get to flip on the lights and fun siren?
WOW! That sounds so fun. You are just being a big sister;)
i don't know what to say except that i don't know if my heart can go on. blackmail. :) just kidding. funnest weekend ever.
