Yesterday was a wonderful day. I had to go to Costco for a few things and my boys were just angels. I guess I feel inclined to blog this because I usually spend my time in stores with them bribing them and begging them to just make it through. But yesterday sweet Kayden was such a gentleman. He's been on this 'take care of mom' kick lately. A few days ago I was doing dishes and he came in and said, 'Mom can I please have a washcloth. I'm going to clean the table so you don't have to do all those things that mommies have to do all the time.' So cute
Back to Costco. It was lunch time a.k.a. sample time. Kayden would go over and get two of things and give one to Trace and one to me. I told him Thank you but he could have it and he said 'No thanks mom. It's more important that you get one, I'm okay.' Stop my beating heart!!
Then I took Trace out to get the mail with me later in the afternoon and there was a dandelion in the grass. He stopped dead in his tracks and ran over to pick it. He brought it over to me and said 'Here is a beautiful flower for my beautiful mommy.' So, today was one of those days I felt like I was making a difference and raising gentleman instead of crazies!
