Another tradition growing up for my family which was easy to hook Chris on was the State Fair. This year was no exception, and I would have to say was the best year for the Utah State Fair since I've been attending. I think we hit our first food booth within about 100 feet of the entrance (and exit for that matter) and it was a pretty busy night. Between the 5 adults and 2 kids we put down:
2 Curly Fries

1 Cheeseburger
6 Corndogs
3 Soda Pops

1 Ice Cream Cone
2 Caramel Apples

4 Corn on the Cobs

1 Funnel Cake

What we could have still eaten but were trying to show a 'little' self control:
A turkey leg
A bloomin onion
Kettle Corn
Roasted Almonds
Lemonade
More Corn on the Cob
More ice cream
Oh and I guess the other things at the fair were cool too. Of course the animals were cool to see and I'm thrilled that we didn't ride one ride either! Trace found a little corner at one point and danced the night away.

Wow, looks awesome! I should have gone just for the food!
That looks like some mighty fine eatin'. Now I knows I gots to get me to that thar fair.
I'm impressed that you limited yourself to only one funnel cake between all of you. That's amazing self-control.
And can anyone tell me why Lagoon does NOT sell funnel cakes? Such a disappointment.
I am all over the freshly spun cotton candy mmmm. The fair is our tradition too. You know fall is here when the state fair is in full swing.
We were at the fair Monday night! Although our only food purchase was the all-you-can-eat ice cream tent. I'm scared to ask how much $ you all spent on food that night!!
