Captain Moroni

Tonight for FHE we learned about Captain Moroni. Needless to say it was a hit once the swords and soldier costumes came out. I had these in the closet from a youth activity 3 years ago! Glad I saved them because the boys loved them. We read in the Book of Mormon about Captain Moroni ripping his coat and writing what he would fight for, then we drew our own flags with pictures of what we would fight for. Kayden drew a temple, the scriptures, and his family. Trace drew his family and Buzz Lightyear. Then we dressed up and practiced fighting for what we love. I know it's a stretch, but I also know they will remember it!

I think you do the best FHE. Your kids are learning so much.

Hi this is Katie McCaul from the ward. I have been looking at blogs to get to know people hope that is okay...it is a good way to get to know everybody (if you remember their names). That sounds fun I need good ideas because my little one isn't very interested in just reading scriptures. So i am adding you to my friends is that okay? if not i will take it off!

I think we should get our boys together to play! I have two boys in the afternoons but I think they could all play. I am home everyday after 11:30 so we should set up a day. You live on Ranches parkway right?
