Conference

So I don't expect my wee ones to sit and watch conference but I did have them sit with me for the beginning of the solemn assembly. I had gotten really cute conference packets from some friends so they were busy coloring the apostles ties as they saw them, and I would help them say their names.

Elder Uchtdorf as you know did a lot of speaking that session so we practiced his name. It began with me saying his name and Kayden saying 'What?' Like I was crazy. So I had him say Elder, which was no problem. Then I said Uchtdorf. His little eyes lit up and he said 'Like one of the seven dwarfs!' I laughed so hard! We had just returned from Disneyland the night before, so he obviously was still thinking about it.
