So we've lived in this house 5 years now and never put up a tree for one reason or another and I couldn't stand it anymore!! We're headed to NM for Christmas so didn't want to do a big fancy one but I had to do something. So we drug this one out of storage and cleaned it up a bit and it looks pretty cute. We started a family tradition this year of each of us chosing a new ornament (then when the kids leave they'll each take theirs with them) It was no real surprise Kayden's was Spiderman and Trace's was Thomas the Train! I found a cute tool bench for Chris and I found a beautiful Polar Express bell. And the boys even enjoyed very old (like years and years) candy canes! All in the spirit of Christmas!
