Potty Training & Chocolate Donuts

So we ventured out of the house for the first time 'in big boy pants.' I thought a quick trip to Smith's for just 2-3 things would be do-able. Well, an hour later and 3 trips to the bathroom I thought I would scream. (and I still only had 2-3 things in the cart) The first trip to the bathroom and Trace escaped under the stall into the one next to us. I was totally grossed out by him on the floor and worried he may explore the other stall, when my germ fears quickly turned to embarrassment when I heard a sweet women's voice 'Well hi there.' And cheerful Trace answer, "Hi, Dayden's going potty, you too?" Luckily he quickly crawled back under, gross!!!

Then after 3 times to the potty I asked Kayden to just hold it, something I've never said before. Where did this term come from exactly? I'm sure you can imagine what happened next. Bless his heart he looks up at me and says 'Sure Mom if you want me to.' He then 'held it' walking through Smith's and all the way out to the car. I always said I'd be a mom who didn't let her kids do that, oh well. I guess the good news is he 'held it' all the way home. And got a yummy chocolate donut to celebrate. Is there any other way to eat a chocolate donut?
