I was so excited for summer to start. Last summer was kind of a bust and so I was really looking forward to doing some fun things with the boys. I put a big poster on the door that said welcome to summer and we kicked it off right!
We headed to a neighborhood color party and although they weren't really sure at first what to do it ended up being a lot of fun. Food and friends and water :)
That night we made a cake and they all got to decorate it with whatever toppings they wanted. You can't tell but we had a LOT of sprinkles on that cake :)
