Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas break. So sad to see it over in fact. School begins tomorrow and while I think the boys are excited to go back and see their friends and I am sort of looking forward to a routine again, it has been nice to be able to relax and not always be looking at the clock for drop offs, pick ups, lessons etc. This year we got to stay home and relax together. I wish we had a white Christmas but other than that it was wonderful. We made a nice ham dinner on Christmas Eve and tried to make it 'fancy.'

We spent most of the day playing games and just hanging out. The boys were thrilled to pull their dad over on the old broom handle game :)

Brooks had his first 'real' arm wrestle and thinks he is the strongest one in the house now :)

Trace got a new game called Headbandz for his birthday a few weeks ago so we played that for awhile. You have to guess what card is on your head by asking questions to everyone else. It was a lot of fun and easy for the kiddos to pick up on.

Then we got ready to go to bed! The boys wrote this letter which I thought was hilarious. They were even more excited when 'Santa' wrote back and told them Oreo's were acceptable, seriously why wouldn't they be right? The boys thought they needed to be home made and we just didn't get to it that day.

They laid out the Oreo's and carrots and milk and were asleep by 9 :)...............
