It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This is our first real Christmas tree in our house!! We're usually out of town but this is our first official Jensen Family Christmas and I'm so excited! We had a lot of fun picking out the perfect tree and Chris did a wonderful job setting it up and it smells like heaven!

I set up my small 3 fake trees in the living room and let the boys decorate it however they wished. This has been wonderful because they have left mine alone and I don't worry about them tipping anything over or pulling any of my breakable ones down if they want to play or look at them through out the day.

We started a family tradition last year of each person picking out an ornament to buy. It was fun to pull them out this year and remember. Also this way when the boys eventually leave our home we'll be able to give them a box of ornaments to take!

This is my favorite thing of my Christmas decor. My mom gave it to me for Christmas 2 years ago and I think it is beautiful. This picture doesn't do it justice at all.

The almost finished product. I've since added some silver and maroon eucalyptus leaves and berry looking 'fruff' as Chris calls it. It is my first attempt at a tree so hopefully I get better each year.
